Downloadable Content Run-Down v1.7

Update 9/26: Thanks to Repliroid20XX for the European DLC Dates.

After swallowing my pride playing / beating the USA Version first illegally, then paying and downloading the Japanese Version. I've grown a little bored. I figure wait and see how the PS3 and Xbox 360 Versions are besides playing in forced aspect ratio 4:3 and 480i. Out of my boredom, I'll be updating the chart accordingly for each system, cost, release date for all regions, size, etc in terms of Downloadable Content.

 Believe it or not. The USA and JPN releases display the release dates for DLC in the Opera Browser Manual through the Shop Channel for this WiiWare title. Most people probably already know what these Items do. I'll suppose I'll review it again though. Endless Attack is basically a Stage that never ends to see how far you can reach for Ranking. Hero Mode lets you play the game with the Enemy Rate Increased, while Superhero Mode has an even more of an Enemy Rate Increase than Hero Mode.

Blues, I've explained in the last post. And finally, the Special Stage released at later dates in the month of October is a totally new Stage. Unlike the Endless Attack, this one ends with a new Boss Battle. If you've beaten the game at least once, you might guess what it could or might be.

RM9 Nintendo Site Listing & Blues DLC Confirmed

The Nintendo Shop Channel Site in the WiiWare Section finally lists Rockman 9: Ambition's Revival!!. Even on the Japanese Wii Shop Channel on the Wii, it shows a notice for Rockman 9 for WiiWare.

More importantly, it shows the Red Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection logo. On the bottom of the WR9J page, it states there's Ranking and through purchase, "Additional Content".

Able to shoot Charged Shots and Slide when Rockman can't. He can also Block Minor Attacks with his Shield. The North American Release for this Download seems to be the week of October 6th. No Information regarding the Japanese Release of the Download has been confirmed. I'm pretty sure it'll pop up very soon though.

Rockman 9 Original Soundtrack

I've obtained my copy of the Rockman 9 Original Soundtrack in the Mail today a Week later from Amazon JP. They're usually Quicker with these things especially back when I ordered the Rockman X8, Rockman EXE5DS Complete Music Encyclopedia, and Ryuusei no Rockman 1&2 Original Soundtrack. I'm assuming it really has something to do with Inti Creates, all the previous CD Orders were Suleputer published. One annoying thing is not getting one of those Pins / Badges. I knew I should have Imported through e-Capcom to get that Yellow / Golden Pin Badge.

<- FMS Rockman 1~6 CD1 | Rockman 9 CD ->

Everything about this Release is great. The Book and Illustrations are very nicely done. The Front of the CD has that 8-Bit Print with different Sprites, almost exactly the same as the Capcom Music Generation Family Computer Soundtracks ~ Rockman 1~6 CDs. You can also feel the Printing Grooves of the Sprites just like those earlier CDs. The Music itself is the best part even though it borrows some BGM from Rockman 2. The Tracks have those Famicom / NES esque feel to them, some of the Instruments remind me of the Kunio Nekketsu games and other Famicom games.

It's very odd that it was released and not delayed in spite of the Game, which I blame Nintendo for. RM9 could have easily been on the Japanese Wii Shop Channel last week, instead of that Green Spud Man game or whatever the hell took the place for that week. Even though I'm late with this release. It's certainly good to have, even without the Pins for Collection Purposes. The CD Extraction above is LAME 3.98 Final encoded, V0 for VBR New with my usual Command Line Extras. All Fields are Tagged to the possible amount of information, V1 and V2.X.
