Complete Save

Meant to post it last Saturday but didn't have the time. I also included a Raw Save in the Zip which should allow you to do a Save Restore for those of you using Retail Carts.

  1. Thanks for the save Nigoli.

By the way, I know you got the latter half of the games completed legitimately, but do you recall if you hacked for the first half? I know you have the Bass chip in BN1, but I'm wondering if you got that by trading with a Japanese game or hacked that in because you missed the event.

The real reason I'm asking this is because in your save file for EXE3 Black, you have Virus chips in different codes than they're available in for the North American games, so if it's possible to make better folders with international trading. Also, you have both Forte Another and Forte GS on the save, and I was under the impression that chip itself was replaced since it gets overwritten in the Library. I know you hacked it at least a bit since you have multiples of Giga chips, but if you got the Virus/ForteGS chips legitimately then it'd be interesting for folder strategies. I'm just curious, since there's not really any info on that kinda stuff.

  2. Thanks Anonymous #1 / Post #3.

Yes. This is true. I did hack Forte F for the first game, which is why I have more than 1 of it. This was around the time I didn't care much for legitimency in these types of games and it's Series. EXE2 is a bit screwed up like that too (x99 of some Chips). And EXE3 is probably the most crippled.

I've replayed these, especially the first game in Japanese now, getting only 1 of each Event Chip like the way it was for EXE4~6. I just have to do Battle Network Rockman EXE2 on it's Hard Mode and I might reupload them at some point. Everything is legit as possible except for Zenny and BugPiece amounts, as for EXE3 / EXE3 BLACK this time around, the Virus Family is definitely legit this time around too. And no more Navi Customizer Program x9, just everything that's possible in-game to acquire and Unique Style Programs, there's also no more multiple of Giga Class Chips and no more other version Giga Class Chips in particular version.

Also, you have both Forte Another and Forte GS on the save, and I was under the impression that chip itself was replaced since it gets overwritten in the Library.

This is True. Once ForteGS X is acquired, it does replace Forte / ForteAnother in the Data Library. Making Punk P the only one that isn't in a Data Library for EXE3.

  3. Hey, I found it was possible to get more Bass chips out of BN1's 10-chip trader once Bass was already in my Data Library, so I would consider it legitimate to have duplicates.

  4. I saw that picture you had going around for the GBA Version. That's pretty neat.

I'm assuming it works the same way for Burai B?

  5. Possibly, depending on how the developers felt about the old chip trader rules.

  6. What if you brought over 2 GBAs to an official event? That would make more legit chips, right? I don't see much of a problem having more than one as long as you trade them from another save file.
