Blues Mode

Upon Downloading the Blues Mode Add-On Content, Special Games will open up and make a new selection for Blues Mode. Challenges/Achievements and All Clear Ranking cannot be counted for this game mode. Shop access is also can't be accessed by Blues.

You'll notice the trademark whistle from past games as he teleports in. He won't have his Shield on him for his sprite while he's standing.

When jumping, he'll be able to use the Blues Shield and it ricochet's enemy projectiles back at the enemy just like Jewel Satellite. Pretty much round shots like those. Anything else he'll block it with the Shield. Sliding is back from Rockman 3 on onward.

Blues will also be able to utilize Charged Shots for is default weapon.

Sub Menu. There's not much that can be done here for Items seeing as how Blues can't collect Screws for the Shop. You're able to pick up E and M Cans and use them just like Rockman can.

B. Coil and B. Jet. You start out with both of these. They're exactly like Rush Coil and Rush Jet.

Blues (Proto) Buster

Able to fire 2 normal bullets on the screen at a time unless you're using Blues Coil or Jet. The Charge Shot is exactly like the one in Rockman 4 and even has a new SE for charging and shooting the Charged Shot. It seems a little weaker sometimes, and you can't Charge more if you're in the Sliding state.

Shield

Have to be jumping. It'll ricochet enemy projectiles back at the enemy if they're round bullets, otherwise it blocks enemy attacks.

Sliding

Exactly like Rockman 3 and onward. This will allow you speed through and reach certain places that are small and narrow instead of using the Hornet Chaser as Rock.

Blues (Proto) Coil

Acts like Rush Coil. Perfect for trying to reach high up places.

Blues (Proto) Jet

Acts like Rush Jet. Ideal for trying to get across a certain or number or platforms.

Blues can also acquire Weapons like Rockman can.

Blues is now playable right from the start in Rockman 10, without needing any DLC to play as him. He plays exactly the same as the previous game and even has access to his own unique Shop and Screws aside from Rockman and Forte.

Special Stage 3 (Ballade Stage)

Stage Start. The Background and walls look more like the first Wily Stages in Rockman World 4 with this Stage. It's a lot more short compared to Special Stage 1&2.

Jumping can be a pain here with the Bombs, you just have to take your time with jumping and shooting them.

Again the utilizes the more newer enemies in the main game.

A more unique type of enemy or obstacle if you will, are the Missles from the first couple of Wily Stages in World 4. You can simply just shoot them and they'll explode. Don't stand too close to them though while shooting.

I almost thought this Stage was going to have an alternate path. I was about to take this route if it was. Luckily enough there was an E-Can and Big Energy pickup inside. I'm just still in amazement that the previous Special Stage and this one have an E-Can.

Right before the Stage's end and the Boss coming up, it's exactly like how you fought Ballade after his transformed phase, and had to use some type of weapon that can shoot in different directions to get through. It's not as bad as that was though, and not as a scrolling esque thing this time this time. Triple Blade, Rebound Striker, and even the Screw Crusher work nicely here. Screw Crusher has a lot of Weapon Energy for what you'll need it for.

Boss Hatch.

Ballade

He's like he was in Rockman World 4. I'm quite honestly disappointed how fast I was able to destroy him with Screw Crushers. He's not too bad, if you're using the Rock Buster even though it takes one peg off. Just explode his bombs, and avoid when he walks over to you after the jumping face planting Ballade Crackers. He never took into his Second Form neither. The Sprite Data is definitely in the game too, maybe it changes if you defeat him once. I'll have to replay the Stage at some point.

After you defeat Ballade, you'll get a Clear Time. If it's your first time completing the Stage, your System Data will flag Ballade Cracker, like Mirror Buster and Screw Crusher before it unlocked for every game mode. This means all Saves when you start them up (can be saved after load), New Playthroughs, Time Attack, and Endless Attack. The Weapon can only be used by Rock only. Blues and Forte never get these Weapons, even hacking them in manually makes the game freeze trying to use them.

Special Stage 2 (Punk Stage)

Stage Start. The Background and walls look more like the Wily Stages in Rockman World 3 in this Stage. It's a little more short compared to Special Stage 1.

This Stage utilizes the more newer enemies in the main game. Surprisingly enough there's actual an E-Can pick up in the Stage, it's a pain to get to, unlike Special Stage 3.

Platform jumper from Blademan's Stage, you could probably just use Rush Jet if you have enough.

Parachute Bombs. The first two Crushers here both slammed down at once for me. There's also Metools here and Sniper Joes.

Spider and Sniper Joe before Boss Hatch. Background is like that of RW3.

Punk

He's like he was in Rockman World 3, just like Enker in World 1. He'll usually throw 3 Screw Crushers at you as he jumps in the same spot, they're pretty easy to dodge once you get the timing right. The Mirror Buster worked the best against him, then again I didn't have B.Cracker on me before this because I did it in order. Since there's no Slide, you'll have to jump over him if he's in the middle or too high when he's doing his phase to get to the other screen with his pattern. It's kind of odd fighting him though, it's a shame you can't used charged Rock Buster shots against him like World 3. I ended up using Rock Buster shots to finish him off, since I was tired of getting used to the Mirror Buster and his Screw Crushers to get absorbed.

After you defeat Punk, you'll get a Clear Time. If it's your first time completing the Stage, your System Data will flag Screw Crusher, like Mirror Buster unlocked for every game mode. This means all Saves when you start them up (can be saved after load, New Playthroughs, Time Attack, and Endless Attack. The Weapon can only be used by Rock only. Blues and Forte never get these Weapons, even hacking them in manually makes the game freeze trying to use them.
